Makes taxes easier

Have used Turbo tax for nearly ten years now and have found it to be better than when we paid someone to do our taxes. All rocks are over turned and nothing is forgotten, thanks to all the questions. I always let Turbo tax walk me through the entire list of questions.
What's great about it: Walks you through everthing
What's not so great: Only watch for new questions and don't let them throw you

I will use this every year. It is convenient and easy to use. i will never pay another tax-preparer in life. i love it!!!
What's great about it: i loved how everything was broken down
What's not so great: the updates took a while...but after i restarted my computer the updates went quickly.

Once you've used Turbo Tax, it gives you a choice to import information from last year's return. Confirms the information is still correct. So easy. Also love the ability to import W2s! I do not just my taxes, but my daughters as well - anything to speed up the process and reduce the chance of errors has my vote! Great product as always!
What's great about it: walks you through all possible scenarios for maximum benefit
What's not so great: don't walk me through Obamacare when I've already stated I have healthcare
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Why So Complicated ???

Overall Very Good, Very Helpful, Makes me feel Empowered... Unfortunately the IRS Tax Processes, Laws, and Endless publications leave me confused and uncertain at times. I do not like the "Blog" style help function in TurboTax. I found many answers to be incomplete, confusing, and some just wrong... This adds to the overall frustration and stress of the Tax filing process...
When I have a question I just want a simple straight forward answer... and not a treasure hunt !
What's great about it: TurboTax seem to know what they are doing... Numbers, etc... always seem to come together in the end...
What's not so great: Help functions, definitions of IRS "Language", "Blog" for Help

The Turbo Tax is not user friendly.

Why does a person have to go through all the sheets of each item donated and give details that have already been given?
What's great about it: Guiding you is great, and immediate updates are great
What's not so great: Deductible is hard to work with. It's been hard to work with for the last 5 years.
