Nuthin to it!

Completing my taxes is easy every year because of TurboTax. Any road blocks i hit I am able to get answers through the community or directly from a tax professional. ALWAYS the best service. The tax professionals must deal with thousands of calls but you can not tell it when speaking to one. The BEST!
What's great about it: Any all questions answered by professionals
What's not so great: none

I've been using Turbo Tax for many years. I've tried the competition but have always come back to best.. Turbo Tax that is!

Love Turbo Tax!

I love turbo tax! We were able to create and print 1099 for our contract employees so easy! Also, easy to ask a question and go back to fill in needed info! I would recommend it to anyone!
What's great about it: So easy, walks you through it all!
What's not so great: NONE!

I am a full time student and did not work last year. I went to see my Accountant and, to my surprise, he informed me that I did not need to file taxes. That didn't sit well with me, and I left his office feeling extremely uneasy about not filing any taxes, even if I didn't work.
After a few days of feeling nauseous from stressing over not filing, I went ahead and purchased the Turbo Tax Home & Business software. Not only did the software walk me through every step, I ended up receiving a refund! This software literally paid for itself! Thank you Intuit for creating such a great product that is easy for everyone to understand!
What's great about it: Turbo Tax made this process so easy!

Stressful

I like paying one fee to prepare my taxes, instead of hiring someone who will charge a fee per document. I can take my time adding my documentation and knowing that it's a accounted for. However, I am stressed as I submit my return, not knowing if I've answered everything correctly. Nobody wants to be in tax trouble, but the helplines take extremely long to get through, and I often still don't understand after I've spoken with someone. After 6 years, I still don't know how to enter our timeshare amounts paid, not even a clue as to what category it belongs in!
What's great about it: I can take my time working through documents without havin a tax preparer waiting on my answers.
What's not so great: Not all is in easy enough terms. I often don't know what is being asked and how to respond

Turbo nontaxing software

We have been using TurboTax since the early 1990's and find it comfortable to use. Data can be easily downloaded from various institutions making data entry all the more easy. E filing is a bonus.
What's great about it: well designed displays, easy to import data, switch to view forms in progress, save to PDF for easy review.
What's not so great: font cannot be resized larger for easy of viewing

Easy to use - Pretty Much

I hate doing taxes. Turbo Tax eases the pain a lot and I would say 90% of it is a breeze. The ability to use itsDeductable to price charitable donations is great. Being able to also connect to Investment Companies and other Financial institutions to import the year's numbers also helps a lot. My only complaint is the language of some of the help is not really all that explanatory, in a lot of cases just restating what's on the entry form.
What's great about it: Ability to import previous yr, connect to financial institutions for balances
What's not so great: Some help text not all that helpful
