Turbo tax has gotten better every year.
What's great about it: It walks you through every step and very user friendly
What's not so great: When there are errors on the forms section it doesn't really tell you how to fix it.

Did My Taxes ... But ...

Didn't feel TT imported from Q H&B. The options were Quicken and Quickbooks. I chose Quicken but it didn't seem to import right. I had to manually enter a lot of stuff. I'm going to review how I've got Q H&B set up and configured, that could be the problem.
What's great about it: Easy to follow and do taxes
What's not so great: Didn't import from Quicken Home and Business

Connection to Quicken!

Have used this program for years. Every time Quicken is improved, TurboTax gets easier. Quicken's import function assigns categories at random, so it takes a long time to make the categories fit the expenses. Exporting the Tax Summary to Excel helps identify what's wrong and what's missing. Then TurboTax asks if you want to import or type entries. Easy enough!
Fed & State both received my tax forms on the 15th, and I sent them early on the 15th while I watched the eclipse of the moon.
What's great about it: Once Quicken is up to date, most of the work is done!
What's not so great: Couldn't find the 2014 Estimated Tax forms after eFiling

2013 Home & Business

The software got all of my expenses from QuickBooks as well as the Total Income, but the Cost of Goods sold was off by quite a bit. There is no way to see a detailed listing at what did not get included, and the numbers made no sense.
What's great about it: Goes through all the required steps
What's not so great: Did not account my Cost of Goods sold accurately

Been using your program since 1996. This year your program left me in the dark concerning my totalled truck (business auto) after my accident, received insurance settlement and purchased new truck in 2013. Your directions within the program did not give me a feeling of confidence to know it was done correctly - simply fill in the blanks and delete damaged truck in the next pane. I am sure I will be called out on this by the IRS - with some sort of fee to pay. You are doing the best you can with your resources, maybe improving this part of the program in years to come.
What's not so great: Business exspense for totalled truck

Post-entry navigation
on April 15, 2014

After completing a section or even a whole return, going back to enter, check, or review previous data can be difficult because the software doesn't remember past answers to non-numerical questions. It is not easy to skip forward through the questions to return to the location you need to be.
Add a "Forward" button if a section is known to already be completed so navigation can be easier without having to verify that a previous answer has not changed back to a default answer. (Even worse is that answers DO change back to default answers.)
Similarly, it would be nice if a person could navigate to a location in the middle of a major category (for example Business section) without having to start all the way back at the beginning. Put in some sub-section navigation to the main navigation tabs.
What's not so great: Re-checking a partial return could be easier
