IRS found an error that I made with payments. I erroneously included the overpayment from the previous year as an estimated payment in TT as paid on 4/15/13; when TT added the payments made, which included the overpayment, to the overpayment amount, it yield a lower amount due IRS. My fault, not TT.
I have been using Turbo Tax since 1987. It has matured a lot since that time and there are many more features. I like the ability to add a flag.
I had more trouble with the navigation the year than I have in years past. In particular it was not easy going from an individual from to Step-by-Step. Step-by-Step insists on taking me back to where I left off rather than following a Step-by-Step for the form I am on. Ideally I should be given the choice.
Still, in the grand scheme of things this is a rather minor inconvenience given that I filed 6 forms on 14 pages. Shure glad that I did not have to try and do that manually.

What's great about it: As always it does a great job of my rather complex tax return
What's not so great: Navigation was not as easy as in past years
I like the 2011 Turbo Tax better. The design in the 2012 is more welcoming but 2013 is just as good. It will solve my extra income from investments just like the 2012 version.
2013 Turbo Tax Foreign Tax Credit and Foreign Investments-- I still have to pay very close attention to. I like that I am learning more about my tax situations. Interest Income and Dividends are now fun.
What's great about it: Foreign Tax Credit and IRA credit
What's not so great: I wish I understood the Tax Rate and corresponding Tax Table or how to est. paying additional taxes
I've used Turbo Tax for 15 years. It's quick and easy. However, sometimes it does not provide information I want. I think it assumes that I don't need to know certain things based on what I enter. For example, for 2013, it did not tell me that I did not qualify for Roth IRA because my income was too high. It just took the information. If I did not know this, I would have suffered fees and interest for those amounts as long as I had the contributions in my Roth. It did not tell me that I needed to recharacterize or remove the amounts.
What's great about it: Easy, quick, complete
What's not so great: Doesn't always explain each question.
