40 page return done in less than 2 days!

Turbo Tax is fantastic. I have a complicated return, but it did the job nicely. Everything was filed electronically. Anyone who can use a computer can use Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: Talked me through everything. When I had a question, it was able to give me an answer!

Everything you need to file your taxes in one software package. Takes all the stress and confusion out of the yearly event of filing your taxes. With our small business and our regular jobs we have counted on TURBO TAX to make this a simple and organized accounting task. We are confident of our returns and have the added cushion of backup and assistance if necessary. You cant go wrong...TURBO TAX, peace of mind in a box!

This process went very smoothly. The only thing I struggled with was the housing expense that is unique to clergy.

So Easy to use

I have very successfully used Turbo tax for over 10-years and the program easily guides you through even difficult issues. Often, I click on buttons or pages to learn more about a deduction or worksheet and they are always useful. For 2013, I was particularly concerned about of the sale of a rental house that involved determination of cost basis and how to account for significant repairs. Turbo Tax led us through and saved us thousands of dollars over having done it ourselves. I highly recommend Intuit and its accounting and tax products like Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax has easily lead me through a number of complicated issues (i.e. sale of rental property, etc)
What's not so great: None - it is very easy to use.

I think the order of the questions this year was better than in past years. You started with some of the 'harder' stuff, then had smooth sailing with the easy stuff (like W2) toward the end.
There was one step in the Louisiana return that wasn't clear dealing with retirement income that was exempt from state taxes. It resulted in me owing the state about $2500. Since my financial situation hadn't changed much from last year when I'd received a $69 refund, I thought something must be incorrect. The second time through I found the thing I was supposed to check off for qualifying income, and my return came back at about $80.
All in all, this was a quick and relatively painless process.
What's great about it: So simple, even a cave woman can do it.
What's not so great: Unclear direction in Louisiana filing

Great Tool

I have been using TurboTax for several years now. I have owned a few different businesses and because of that I have used several different TurboTax products. These are very simple to use even if your tax situation is fairly complex. So far I have not even needed to go into the online help center (although it's nice to know it's there) because these programs really take the difficulty out of doing your taxes.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: None really
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
