Extremely thorough tax return ,Help is so close

I am very organized but in doing a tax return it is so easy to
forget something or not know if it is deductible, But Turbo Tax
programming has covered every base in my case. I am self
employed and retired from regular hours etc and would not
spend the extra money for a tax service since all the records
have to be compiled for them by me so why not save the extra
dollars and feel secure in the Turbo Tax Program. they have tax experts available and can help cover any base.

Great Program!

This was a great first experience in filing our own return after having used CPA for the past 35 years. The prompts to fill in information for each segment of the return were clear and thorough. Especially appreciated ability to click on various helps to gather more understanding of what information was sought in the prompts. It is helpful to have all your information gathered prior to starting the program. I am truly thankful for such a well organized and easy to use software program such as this. Thank you!
It would be helpful to repair the program so the script error message does not keep popping up constantly. That was the only major annoyance I encountered. Also make clear how to avoid the Schedule F coming up if it is not applicable.
What's great about it: Very user friendly; helpful explanations with just a click
What's not so great: glitch of a Script error message which I had to keep removing; also unwanted Schedule F included

Complicated tax forms and regulations made easy

Many explanations for each section/question. Can "go back" at any time without losing your place/responses. automatically check the return as you're completing the questions and alert you to areas that need additional attention. Does a final review of the forms for errors.
What's great about it: Easy to understand and use.

FILING WITH EASE!!

It saves me so much time and money not having to make an appointment with a company to do something I can do myself since I keep records of everything for tax purposes and am organized.

Business taxes with ease

I have been using Turbo Tax since 2003 for personal tax preparation. I started a sole-proprietorship in 2009 and have been using Turbo Tax Home and Business ever since. My business is simple and I do not have to hire an accountant. I can import investment reports and QuickBooks data to save me time. Good, easy to use product.
What's great about it: Easy to use and understand complex business issues and help at your fingertips

Easy to Use

I love this software, however, it would not e-file my federal return. It said to check for updates, which I did and there were none, but still would not e-file so I had to print and mail it.
What's great about it: Very easy to use, good explanations.
What's not so great: Wouldn't e-file my federal return

You Walk Your Talk (and mine)

I am a person who likes detail, accuracy and clearly articulated instructions. Turbo Tax offers provides all this and more. When I finish my taxes I have a sense of security knowing that I have examined all possible options to enhance my refund and that my document is comprehensive and accurate. I like the like the opportunity to do this myself and still feel confident that it is done right. THANK YOU!!
What's great about it: clarity, ease of use, accuracy
What's not so great: HUM...well.....it isn't free!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments
