Filing left much to be desired

You can do a better job on helping customers e-file. Tried 6 times on the federal form and updated as instructed. Did not work, had to send form in by USPS.
This makes y'all look bad since the forms did not move out.
Also had similar problem with state form.
And I hope I am not charged for "e-filing" my state form. I will monitor this and will complain mightily if I am charged for a service not done.
What's great about it: Great at taking information and formating.
What's not so great: tried to e-file 6 times with no go. Even updated and still no e-filing on federal forms.

Mostly easy.

The first problem I had was that the terminology on the state form wasn't the same as what I was reading off of my K1 form.
Then, there was a fixed sequence for the e-file and payment. I wanted to get the Federal e-file and payment out of the way first, before I went on to e-file and pay for the State, but the program was inflexible about that.

My wife and I are both realtors, question were sometimes directed to 'realtor'.
What's great about it: very detailed, covered all my situations
What's not so great: confusing in asking questions when there are two people with the same job title
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Turbo Tax makes doing Taxes so much easier and with less Stress!
What's great about it: Just does a great job walking me through it!
What's not so great: The Tax Code with so many things to look at every year!

I was having difficulty importing last years tax info. After waiting 90 or so minutes, I was finally connected with support (that will teach me to file the day before taxes are do).
I am so impressed with the customer support I received. It was late and no doubt the person we worked with, Sara was going on overtime. She stayed with me to ensure that everything was working correctly. I expected to be rushed of the phone. Instead I was dealt with as if I was an important customer.
Great service! Very impressed!

I've been using Quicken and Turbo tax since 1989. I wouldn't do it any other way.
What's great about it: simple to understand
What's not so great: Doesn't calculate and allow paying late penalty

A very helpful high quality product

I have used this software for a number of years. I appreciate the thoroughness with which it leads me through the process and the absence of bugs. It took a while, but I have learned how to jump in and out of the guidance as needed. It is just taking advantage of the available navigation aids. A tutorial on that might be a useful resource.
What's great about it: Thorough, user friendly
What's not so great: Takes a while to learn to navigate around

Fast and Easy

Overall the most significant work involved creating my own spreadsheet to figure out the mileage donated to several organizations and documenting the results. Also i need a refresher course on how to get my data from various brokerage houses to automatically tabulate the investment sheets. Other than those two items my return went together smoothly and I am satisfied with the results. I am astounded how many worksheets and forms it takes to accomplish this effort.
What's great about it: Being able to get through the return without using a calculator.
What's not so great: Complexity of understanding AMT.
Pros: I bought or sold investments
