1-PROGRAM HAS POOR COMMUNICATIONS:
SCHEDULE A - YOUR PROGRAM INDICATED IT WAS NOT AVAILABLE AND YOU WOULD COMMUNICATE TO ME WHEN IT WAS READY AND THIS WAS 4/14/14 WHEN I WAS READY TO FINALIZE MY TAXES AND EFILE. I DECIDED TO HIT THE FINISH BUTTON ANYWAY AND SURE SCHEDULE A WAS READY.

2-E-FILING FEDERAL FORM:
INSTRUCTIONS FOR SENDING THE CHECK WAS TO "WRITE S/S # AND 2013 FORM 1040 ON THE CHECK" AND GAVE AN ADDRESS TO MAIL THE CHECK. (NO MENTION OF FORM 1040V BEING REQUIRED TO SEND ALONG WITH THE CHECK.
4/16/14 I RECEIVE CONFIRMATION THAT THE FEDERAL TAXES HAS BEEN ACCEPTED WITH A NOTE TO INCLUDE PAYMENT VOUCHER (FORM 1040V) MY CHECK WAS MAILED ON 4/15/14 HOW CAN I NOW INCLUDE IT WITH MY CHECK????????

Was able to complete taxes in 2 short sessions. Deductions very easy to do as the program walks you through everything. Will definitely use again next year!!!
What's great about it: Very easy to use, even with multiple deductions
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Change the format so the forms can be viewed quicker. Showing an error on a sheet in isolation is frustrating. Much easier to show which form it is and how the error or mistake impacts the refund when you can see sheets. I felt like it took forever to find the file taxes submit button; because when I am ready to file I am forced to prin t out the forms first instead of filing the taxes first.
What's great about it: I like doing my own taxes.
What's not so great: i liked the format last year where you could see the forms easily. This year I had to hunt for the sheets to see errors.

Sorely disappointed for first time ever

TT did not total for me as it has always done - there were "errors" at the end. I walked through EVERY step FOUR TIMES and then had to run to the post office at midnight on the 15th with a request for extension - it wouldn't even do that online as it has done in the past.
Never have had a problem with TT previously and have used nothing but this product for years - and this was why I was completely comfortable with waiting until the 15th to do my tax return. I will be looking for another product for next year - and perhaps even for this year, since even following the instructions to "fix" my return - which were simply to walk through the process step-by-step again #repeatedly# answering each question only produced the same errors. Beyond disappointed.

Great Job

I have used Turbo Tax now for three years, I am able to fill in the blanks as they are very self explanatory and I do not have to leave home and take my time and thoroughly go over and over the pages to make sure nothing was overlooked.

I like the everyday language and heads-up about what's coming. As I said above, I'd just liked to have had a drop down menu that would direct me to where a category is. Occasional duplications in where something should be, but manageable. (i.e. car excise tax). It also helped that a package with just the documents that needed to be sent with the state return was available, but just wish I'd known about it sooner, before I'd stressed about which of the big pack to send and not to send. On the whole, will definitely use TurboTax again. Thanks for making this so easy.
What's great about it: Each step is clearly defined & even has info on what's up next, which takes away some of the otherwise stressful guessng
What's not so great: Wld like to see an easier way to find out where something goes when you think you missed it. Help Ctr helped to a degree

I will not use Turbotax next year, if Obamacare screen must be answered to continue with tax return. Sorry guys. What they are doing is legal criminality. Yeah it is legal and it is criminal.
What's great about it: Easy to use and found good credits and deductions
What's not so great: Could not go past Obamacare screen without answering question
