Good for Taxes - Bad for trees

Turbo tax is an excellent tax calculating software. It walks you through step by step. It is fast and accurate. The big downfall comes when printing the return. It forces you too print many unneeded pages. Even when you request to print "forms for filing only" it still prints many unneeded forms. This has been a source of irritation for many years.
Turbo Tax also seems to be outrageously expensive for e filing.
What's great about it: fast, simple and accurate
What's not so great: Makes you print tons of unneeded pages

I would recommend to others. One note, gather your information for the Tax season your working on prior to start. I found out it's easier to go straight through without going back to enter missing information.
What's great about it: With a little bit of effort, it was easy to complete.
What's not so great: Search Box could be larger and would like to see, when in form view to switch to the same spot in easy interview.

California state return

When I try to file it tells me I need to complete Sched F. I do not have anything to do with a farm and it wants me to answer farm related issues. My federal filed OK but I am unable to file State

Small Business Turbotax

Wonderful way to complete the complex small business forms. I wasn't as happy with the help function as in previous turbo tax program, I would have preferred the federal tax booklet to be accessed, or perhaps I just couldn't find it!
. I have used TurboTax since it has come out!
What's great about it: Easy way to complete all business form
What's not so great: The help menu
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Excellent service. The upload times can be protracted; however, the software itself doesn't miss anything and makes filing your returns easy and fun.

All forms should be compared to last years to see if any major changes occurred and that should prompt a question to the taxpayer.
