PAINLESS TAX PREP

QUESTIONS ARE SIMPLY WORDED. EACH QUESTION IS ISOLATED TO AVOID CONFUSION WITH OTHER TOPICS.
What's great about it: CLEAR QUESTIONS; ABILITY TO LOOK AT TAX FORMS
What's not so great: NO DIFFERENTIATION BETWEEN "NO REFUND" AND "APPLIED REFUND TO ESTIMATED TAXES"

Having done tax preparation professionally, the turbotax program was cumbersome. It appears to be excellent for those who do not understand the tax forms and need a little help sorting through the mysteries of tax law. I found it difficult to select standard mileage rates on vehicle use for business; suggest a check box "use standard mileage rates".or something to that effect. If it is already there, i did not find it.
What's great about it: Easy to understand, mostly
What's not so great: Slow to complete for knowledgeable preparer

I hate having to do taxes, period. However, Turbo Tax gives me the confidence that I will have accurate and complete filings when I am done. After 10 years of using Turbo Tax I can see the improvements each year and I would use none other. Thank you Intuit.
What's great about it: leads you to every opportunity for a deduction
What's not so great: Need more questions about the many situations that occur with dependent college student expenses.

Home & Business works very good. Most helpful is the examples provided right on the page, and if you have questions you can enter the user forem before going to expert help.
What's great about it: EASY TO USE, DOES IT FOR YOU!
What's not so great: I HAVE TO ASSUME IT'S DOING IT RIGHT.

One feature I would like to see added would be a bookmark feature to mark my place in the step-by-step process to check back what I used in a similar situation asked earlier. For example, what did I use for total square footage of my house for calculation purposes under home office use #1 when I was again asked under home office use #2. Other questions would raise up the same need when asked a second time or if I mis-understood a question that later in the process I understood what was intended by a question. Navigating backwards thru the step-by-step process can sometimes be frustrating when pressing the back button as it skips some screens/questions. Say, I was asked a question, but later wanted to change my answer and had difficulty finding the exact screen where my interest was raised. I would almost stumble upon the screen I was looking for as if by accident. And this would be if I knew what section the question pertained to.
What's great about it: Move thru the interview quickly
What's not so great: Need a bookmark feature to return to where I was.
Pros: I moved, I bought or sold investments
