Simplifies a difficult process.
I will never attempt the tax process again without using Turbotax.

What's great about it: No Calculating. Just answer the questions. Let the software walk you through the scenarios.
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Fast and Easy to use

The thorough questions covers every possible topic so you don't miss anything. And you can go back and enter things you missed. Also looks for possible deductions and credit you didn't know exist.

Needs some improvement

It made me miss an energy credit. I had to go to forms to correct it.
What's great about it: Easy to use. Downloads from Quicken and previous TT.
What's not so great: Doesn't handle tax free pension payments properly.

Step by step instructions are easy to use and follow. Links to detailed information and instructions are good with concise clear explanations. For the average tax payer and/or small business this program will provide a better service than going to a tax service or CPA.

2013 Usage from a long time user

Although this year seemed a little harder to get through than previous years it is still a marvelous choice. I am glad to be able to setup all forms on my pc then efile and epay knowing my data is stored for next year.
Also I feel good knowing I opted for the extra audit protection.

What's great about it: options to be guided through the process or select your own
What's not so great: search didn't find the location I searched for so I had to manually go through the forms to find what I was looking for.

awesome refund

I'm getting use to using turbo tax.. all info is transferred from last year. easy to compare to what I did last year.. made it enjoyable.
What's great about it: went quickly
What's not so great: some questions diffcult to understand

It's really very simple. All I can say is try this way if you have the time. I tried tax people before, and they messed up. :)
What's great about it: If I can do it so can you. I even make my grown children do it themselves.

The good and the bad!

I have used TurboTax for many years and appreciate the simplicity and always feel I am getting the best return. I tried the iPad version last year and this is not synced with the online version so I have not been able to access (print) my 2012 tax forms. I even paid for 2013 and still not able. Online assistance is not existence, which makes a simple process frustrating. With the growth in technology, a better job should be done in syncing the platforms especially if the end result is an electronic transmission through TurboTax.
What's great about it: Easy access and updates. Easy to maneuver and add information.
What's not so great: Access to last year's tax forms. The platforms are not synced.
