Unbelievable -- Still Getting Better!!

I prepare early. I buy TurboTax early. I file early. So I sometimes have difficulties with the update process. I realize that the IRS is updating forms right to the last minute and that Intuit needs to update the software "on the fly." But this year, I had a few more "this section is not complete" messages than before. And TurboTax didn't try to "auto-update" each time I opened it #which is probably my mistake in setup#. Those are the only issues. I've used TurboTax forever and don't think I'll ever use any other software. Thanks to Intuit for continuing to improve the interface and the flawless swap from EasyStep to Forms. It's a great program!!
What's great about it: Guidance is one step at a time -- so I won't miss anything!
What's not so great: Unsure whether updates (forms, etc.) were always completed.

Started thinking I would use home for business then decided to change to hobby income and it kept asking for data during reviews and I could not find where to make it stop.
What's not so great: Could not stop business after saying we wanted to use home for business.

What's great about it: good job setting up the turbotax good job
What's not so great: had a little trouble where to enter the points on my refinacing my home.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have been using turbotax for MANY years. Each year it has improved and now I get my tax return done before the end of January most years.
What's great about it: asks me questions to prevent me from missing deductions
What's not so great: Have to do it in their order or take a chance you miss something
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Quick Refund, Easy to use...

I have been self employed for many years. Turbo-tax makes something difficult and time consuming, simple and easy. Even with the tax accounting training that I have, keeping up with all the changes, each year, (and many times with in the same year), can be difficult. I have used this product for many years. It is simple to use, information from the previous years tax returns, my current W-2s and all needed financial data from Quicken are automatically imported into turbotax. I just review it, print it, and e-file it, and I'm done. I like easy to use...
What's great about it: Easy to use, Great product!
What's not so great: None that I can think of.

turbo tax makes filing so easy. just answer the questions and before you know it, your done.
