The service that pays the taxes using a CC# never worked!! It continually declined the CC# even when there was balance available Spoke to the Bank and the service was trying to process it as a Debit card instead of credit card.
What's great about it: The whole process was very good
What's not so great: Credit card payment

Forms 3800 and 5884-B

Your home and business program shouild have carryover form 3800 built in. Also business credit form 5884. I have unused credits that I can carryforward, when I use form 3800 with your program I can't " E-File" my 60 page return!! Don't mark the box " NO" for me , I want State and Federal forms and instructions sent to me, as they have all the new changes in Tax Laws
What's not so great: Federal forms 5884,5884-B and form 3800 should be part of your Business program.

The guide worked really well this year. Seemed to hit all the important items. The import was excellent, it only took 2 hours to do my taxes this year.
What's great about it: Really worked smoothly this year, only 2 hours to do my taxes. Guides were good and seemed to hit all the possibilities
What's not so great: None

Would purchase again.
What's great about it: Very easy to use and complete; covered every circumstance
What's not so great: When running a 'check', the program tells you where there is a problem and what it is, but it does not give a solution
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I was not able to file my extension electronically on 4/15/14. Will know better next time, but the competitive product allows this even @ 11:59 on 4/15. Also, when I printed the extension to mail, there was a shadow mark stating, 'DO NOT FILE'. I could not access a clean extension form. However, at the end of the interview, it stated I had filed a return with payment. (?????)
What's great about it: Complete, I had no errors
What's not so great: Not able to file extension electronically
Pros: I bought or sold investments

in backtracking, the program usually takes me too far back.. years ago, I could select a specific form to go back to; now the program has been "dumbed down" to the lowest common denominator--feels like a Fox news broadcast.
What's great about it: simple, fast, easy to follow instructions
What's not so great: a little rough backing up to previous entries

Turbotax 2013

This year I was very disappointed in my Turbotax experience, when it came to filing the taxes. A software glitch (I have a MAC, not a PC) would not allow my taxes to be transmitted. A message kept coming up, saying that updates were available. I would download them, then try to re-transmit. Repeatedly, it failed to transmit them, with a message telling me that I needed to 1-download the updates & 2- file them by snail mail. There is no excuse for Turbo-tax to not have the MAC thing right by now. Very frustrating.
What's great about it: As usual it was easy to use. That was the good part!
What's not so great: When it came time to file, April 15, it would not transmit my taxes.
