Was okay I guess, said I had an error but form didn't have access to input data it said I was missing. Program didn't ask or give an area to input taxes paid on items purchased throughout the year. This was still rather lengthy to complete, there are other deductions I'm sure are allowed but this program only "illustrates" typical deductions. Some info gathered seems to be only gathered to send to those info collection departments watching the little guy.
What's great about it: completed in my home
What's not so great: Still very cumbersome
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

easy to use

Tried Turbo tax last year for the first time after years of going to a tax accountant. Needless to say, it saved me several dollars. Was easy to follow, and I was able to file for a fraction of the cost!
What's great about it: walked me through all the steps!

I love Turbo Tax and have used it for years. It's easy to use and understand. I like doing my own taxes so I can try different filing options to see what works to my benefit. Although Turbo Tax recommendations have never been wrong, I usually test them.
What's great about it: Clear and to the point instructions. Don't have to be a Tax Expert to understand!
What's not so great: Sometimes, when you select something to try, it doesn't want to NOT take it when you change your mind. But, got it done.

I have used Turbotax for 8 years. It is simply the easiest to use. I use my home for an office.
What's great about it: PRIVACY & EASE OF USE
What's not so great: NO LINK TO "WHERE'S MY REFUND"

Wouldn't UseAnything Else

Been Using Turbo Tax since 2003 and I honestly cannot fathom why anyone would use anything else. Its so easy and so concise it covers areas one would not think to explore.
Turbo Tax is such a wonderful tax tool to prepare your returns when its convenient for you. You can work on your returns a little bit, then save them and go back to where you left off.
An accurate tax tool to prepare your taxes at a reasonable price!
What's great about it: Step by Step Self Explanatory
What's not so great: None
