TurboTax 2013

Overall it is a great platform. Since I have to input all of the date for Form 8938 it would be so easy for you to assist with the FBAR .pdf for e-filing.
Support with Estate/Trust related Tax forms would also be useful. Thanks
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: could be better integrated with other Forms + FBAR
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Where's my refund?

We pay a large sum for your services and when an e-file declaration is produced and a month later there is no such record (and no refunds received yet!), something is really wrong and needs to be investigated.
What's not so great: E-filed, received declaration confirmation, and now it says no returns were sent.

Turbo Tax Yet Again
on June 4, 2014

Have been using TurboTax for nearly 10 years. It is simple, and can handle complex returns (stock and option transactions, K-1s, etc). I will use it again next year!
What's great about it: Year after year my taxes get easier with the information transfer, even though my taxes become more complicated.
What's not so great: Turbo Tax doesn't just do everything itself LOL
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Problem this year!

I need someone to help with the above problem. I have received a rejection from the IRS and they say the return I mailed is incomplete or illegible. I need a call from TurboTax to advise me how to correct the return so it will not be rejected again (5 times) by the IRS.
What's great about it: I liked the ease of completing the return information in the past.
What's not so great: This year 2013 return is all jumbled and has my wife and I filing separately even though we entered MFJ.

Turbo nice tax

Sometimes knowing too much is not a good thing. Because Turbo Tax is easy to use, it is also easy to procrastinate. I like the explanations as it allows me to understand that I can or cannot take a deduction. Its also nice when they give examples, and FAQs.
Another nice thing is that with my busy schedule for running around, I don't really have time (or the money) to take it to the other guys. The last time I did that I had to wait, sit, argue with them that that is not how the deduction was working per our HR people. Bring more papers, sit, then wait a couple of weeks for the paper work to be done. After all that, I ended up paying even more because they made some mistakes! (That was not how the HR people set it up)
Thanks
What's great about it: easy to use. I can see where it all gets entered

frustrated filer

In filing a return for a dead person there are not clear instructions as to how to proceed. When turbo tax offers up correct data from a year ago. IRS wants it zeroed out for some reason. Three filings later, it is accepted. Still waiting on the return to be deposited. The proof will be when the money arrives.
What's great about it: Log on update and go
What's not so great: Major problem. Turbo submits correct data from a year ago
