2013 Tax Return Review

Good product. the "Walk You Through Your Return" is correct and good.
What's great about it: Generally easy to follow.
What's not so great: Some terms and situations confusing.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Easy Returns

Once I am working in the program for a few hours, all is ok. I had a health insurance deduction that I had incorrectly placed in Business Health insurance. I also had this in personal deductions. Turbotax did not catch it and the deduction was coming into the state as double the benefit. It took me about 1 hour to find where I had placed it in the Business deduction section. Maybe this is a suggestion for Turbotax to look for this double deduction in the review process.
What's great about it: Do not have to be a tax expert
What's not so great: A few deductions are hidden and hard to drill down

Terrific Turbo

Turbo is a wonderful ally as you work your way through the forms. Turbo never loses patience, even if you need the same help numerous time. There is just enough of a personal touch to make it feel user friendly.

IRS PUB 925 IS HARD TO UNDERSTAND AND YOUR PROGRAM NEEDS TO OFFER A MORE SIMPLIFIED VERSION SO THAT THE NON PRO TAX PERSON CAN UNDERSTAND THIS LINE 32 a or b AND MAKE A CORRECT DECISSION TO RECEIVE THE CORRECT REFUND.

I would not use any other tax software. I tried another brand several years ago and it utterly failed and was not accurate. One small complaint. I e filed Federal but wanted to mail in state. At the end it prompted like I had e filed both and did not give a prompt to print out the state version. I had to go back to the pdf and print it out. Again not a big deal but would have been nice.
What's great about it: professional easy to use even when complicated
