Failing!

Lost prior depreciation when updating forms that weren't ready when I started tax return. Didn't import self-employed insurance premiums. Didn't ask for meals 50%vs100%. Asked about disaster area and when answering 'Yes' never did anything about it. Forced to add forms manually.
What's great about it: Import from Quicbooks
What's not so great: Basically the product has increased in price but decreased in quality.

Saved me a lot of time and money

Turbotax was easy and straight forward and saved me a lot time. It was a 1/3 of the cost of using an accountant and did a better job for that matter. It pulled down my records from my work, my bank, etc. It saved me a lot of keying in data.
What threw me for a loop was trying to figure out if I could expense my daughter's tuition as she attends a non-accredited college. Eventually, I found the Department of Education list.
What's great about it: Easy, pretty hard to get wrong.
What's not so great: I had trouble knowing if my daughter's college was accredited.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Simplified tax filing

I was amazed at the simplicity of the program.It guided me thru the whole process,quicklybut efficiently.This was the fastest i^ve ever finished my taxes.Kudos to inuit turbo tax.

I loved the way explainations were always available. It made doing my taxes easy and almost painless! I have used this program for a number of years now and would not do anything else.

I like using TT. It saves me time and money!
What's great about it: Easy to work with
What's not so great: sometimes slow, but not bad
