Easy Peasy!

If you're ready to finally get the job done, this will walk you through the process step by step. Even with my own business, it's simple. I love importing my former year return to compare as I go. I then keep a printed copy along with a digital PDF for my records--I know I've always got a back up. THANKS TURBO TAX.
What's great about it: Clear, Fast, Easy Explainations, and SAFE!
What's not so great: Sometimes hard to get back where you started.

I have used this product since 2006, I have yet to get basic info transferred from year to year. After checking the H&R Block program it is basically the same, so there is no reason to stay with Turbo Tax if my info is not transferresd, that is supposed to be a big benefit, less time spent if info is transferred.
What's great about it: very user friendly
What's not so great: it DOES NOT transfer information from year to year

Taxes done - less pain than anticipated

I worked two years doing tax preparation for a CPA firm and using ProSystem professional tax preparation software. After leaving that position I was dreading having to resort to Turbo Tax to do my personal return. I was pleasantly surprised with the ease of use and functionality! I will use Turbo Tax in the future for sure, as well as recommend it to friends.
What's great about it: option to exit interview and go straight to entry
What's not so great: file naming on multiple returns caused a problem, my daughters return overwrote the draft of mine
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Finally Filed!

I love using TurboTax Home & Business, and have for years. The only thing I don't like is that the error check doesn't always give a clear picture of what it is asking. I have to click on the actual tax form to find out what the options (or consequences of clicking a certain option) might be. Other than that, I'd recommend it to anyone!
What's great about it: Always love that it transfers info from prev. year
What's not so great: Error check difficult to decipher

Turbo Tax Home and Business

It is so much easier to fill out your taxes at home in your office than it is to have to gather everything up transport it to someone else office... only to realize that you have forgotten something or can't find it... With Turbo Tax, you simply get up in your own office and get the information you need... simple as that... LOL... providing you can find it in your office....
What's great about it: Can be very simple to use
What's not so great: Being a small Farmer/Rancher some deductions are hard to find

GREAT HELP FILING AT ANYTIME FOR ANY YEAR

I've used Turbo Tax since 1994 and refuse to use anything else. I used to crunch numbers and take days to complete my taxes much less duplicate my effort if I forgot or slept a year and had multiple years to file...ouch! Turbo tax makes not just filing easier but calculating and ensuring you include everything. I don't even have to think about business forms because they are included. So I can do my home and business at the same time and the traceability is automatically handled by turbo tax. Keep up the good work. You make my life so much easier when it comes to this logistic in my busy busy busy world.
What's great about it: TRANSFER DATA FROM PRIOR YEARS
What's not so great: UNABLE TO PRINT SUMMARIES & repurchase each year vs upgrade
