Turbo Tax

Have used Turbo Tax for more years than I care to admit and have always been pleased with the ease of use!
What's great about it: Accurate
What's not so great: Nothing I don't like
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I always thought, that preparation of tax return it is so difficult but Turbo Tax shows that I can do it too.

This is my 5th year using Turbo Tax to complete our taxes. Prior years topics that didn't apply to our family still had to be reviewed and sometimes this confused me. This year it seems that the program is the most user friendly yet!! Questions are asked at the beginning of each topic that help determine if you will need to cover the issues in each category. I found this to be my quickest, simplest tax year ever!! Thank you for making my least favorite adult responsibility such an easy event!
What's great about it: Walks you through topics, doesn't waste your time on topics you don't need to cover
What's not so great: No complaints this year, it has been simplified compared to past years

It automatically enters prior equipment depreciation and information and questions are easily answered with the self help features.

Schedule C is loaded with categories for the profit and loss sections. It isn't always easy to know what items should be under what categories. Other than that, I have confidence that TurboTax will cover every item in full for accurate reporting.
What's great about it: Comprehensive, connects to additional documentation for full explanations
What's not so great: A little cryptic, have to continually return to previous categories to fill out accurately

Have been using this program for over 15 years. Taxes are alawys accurate. I use it for home business, investments etc. Simple and also provides clear instructions and rationales.
What's great about it: accurate, precise and love the choose to do yourself or have Turbo tax walk you through
What's not so great: none

I own a small company and this is so simple to use and walks you through every step and the check every step to make sure you get every break you can. Love this program and it saves me hundreds of dollars.
What's great about it: simple to follow. Walks you thru every thing.
What's not so great: Charges you if you don,t use a credit card

Phone assistance

I called to get answers to two questions that came up on my review section of the filing. After a short wait I was connected to a very pleasant, attentive, patient and knowledgeable attendant that I could clearly hear and understand.
She exceeded my expectations by not only answering my questions and resolving my issues, but going the extra mile. She reviewed my file and found me additional deductions as well as increasing others.
I have been using TurboTax for many years now and switched to Home and Business last year now that I have started up my home based business. I have always felt confident in their accuracy and using the business portion was no more difficult than the residential I had been using in previous years.
I suggest the use of this software often to friends and have always heard good reports back from them. Thank you TurboTax for being so dependable and easy to use.
