Love the ease and convenience of Turbo Tax!

I really like the easy way Turbo Tax walks you through the process of doing your taxes. It asks the questions and does the calculations. The price is right too- less expensive than having someone else do them.
What's great about it: Convenience

Another successful Tax Prep!

I have been using Turbo Tax for about 15 years now. I have tried the other tax prep software but came right back to Turbo Tax. I feel its the most reliable and easiest to use.

Very easy to use and enter information. Would help if the topics were cross referenced with the 1040 line number. eg. AGI line 37

Moving from the world of work to retirement had some surprises, thankfully Turbo Tax made this one aspect much smoother - tax prep was not a problem.
What's great about it: The easy step-by-step progression through the return is key.

Turbo Tax makes filing my tax returns less stressful as the instructions are very clear, every base (as far as I can tell ) is covered, and doing taxes is not time consuming.
What's great about it: Very detailed and very efficient way to prepare tax return

Excellent software!

This is the first time I didn't do my taxes myself and it was so simple! Did all the work for me and saved the time of reading instructions.
What's great about it: Easy
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved, I bought or sold investments

I have been using Turbo Tax since the 90's and have found it to be reliable and complete. Other than the above referenced issue, I find Turbo Tax easy to use. The help is easy to understand and informative. Last year, I used a CPA (cost lots!!) with the installment sale/sale of business. After completed, I entered the accountant's final tax return into Turbo Tax. I had to override in many areas in order to arrive at the CPA final numbers. I found that frustrating.
What's great about it: step by step very easy to follow
What's not so great: problems (last year) with Installment Sale/sale of business

Easy Filing!

I have used Turbo Tax for, at least, 6 years. It is so easy to use the Guided process. I like that I can skip a question/section and come back to it. I can get started on it as soon as my forms start arriving. I love that it imports info from last year's return and from It's Deductible. I sometimes need further explanation of an item and it is readily available. It moves easily from the Fed form to the State form and checks both for errors. And I like to see the comparison of last year's return with this year's. In prior years, we had self-employment income and it guided us right through it. A great product!
