This software worked almost as expected. I was not asked to upload 2012s data. Had to scrap 2 days work in the version with 2012 data. Other then the above problem everything else worked great as always.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax always works great for my small business
What's not so great: I was not asked to upload 2012 data when first starting. Had to spend several hours repeating data.

This year was way more challenging to use

My biggest issue was working with the K-1 for a real estate and trust. Turbo tax would not let me enter all the information that I was given by my accounting firm on one K-1. I needed to open a second k-1 and separate the information. Rather than guide me through this process the program just continued to show me an error. It took hours of my time to solve the issue. I eventually called the accounting firm that gave me the K-1 and was able to understand how to fix the problem. However the situation has made me seriously question if I want to use turbo tax next year.
What's great about it: Most of the steps were easy
What's not so great: I had trouble with the K-1 and with entering my bussiness auto expenses

When taken step by step, no stone remains un-turned. I always feel my return is complete, and that no one could have done better.
What's great about it: I feel like every question has been answered by the time I file.

turbotax works

Im not sure why so many reviews of this software is negative, complaining that its difficult to use.
Ive used turbotax off and on for appx 15 years.
Its only gotten better and easier to use. Certainly more intuitive and user friendly than in earlier versions….

If you need some tax software to help you do your taxes, use Turbotax. I don't think there is a consumer level software out there as good….
What's great about it: easier than in the past
What's not so great: some of the personal info is not really needed and a little onerous
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Was confident that any mistakes that I made, Turbo Tax would take over and guide me to the next section and even explained it. I'll do it again next year. I no longer use my tax preparer due to the fact that she became incompetent.
What's great about it: No rush and took my time
What's not so great: Savings bond section

Stress Reliever

Maneuvering through the sections was a breeze. Easier because I had compiled info prior to engaging Turbo Tax. But even if I hadn't the guidance was clear as to what each section covered. Liked the review process to let you know what you might have missed. Was quite anxious and stressed about the overall process to complete a timely filing. Greatfully, the process relieved some of that. Thanks Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: Easy to follow. Very thorough. Like working with a live pro!!

Hard Copy Printout of My Submission
