Quick and Easy!

We really like doing our own taxes. We get to see how our business is progressing every year and keep an eye on our expenses. It helps us to sit down together and talk about our finances and plan for decisions for the year to come.
What's great about it: Easy, step by step instructions, has tools to maximize deductions
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Accurate as always!

I have been using Turbo Tax since 2009 and it just gets better every year. It is very smart and truly seeks out every resource to maximize all money that may be entitled to you. I used to pay people to do my taxes and rarely got money back. I do not feel they actually checked everything to maximize my return. They did the minimum work required and took my money like a fast food teller. I do not have to worry about that now as I know that Turbo Tax does "Not" miss a thing. I am very satisfied with this software.
What's great about it: Accurate Personal Tax Accountant year after year.
What's not so great: Cant seem to get the online vault to work at all, but files did transfer from last years save file.

Struggled with the business return

I really like turbo tax for personal use but the home business aspect of the the program does not walk you through things as easily. It ask some questions that I really had to work at the answers and I did not feel as confident about the results.
What's great about it: steps through each topic
What's not so great: turbo tax assumes you know a lot about business taxes
