LOVIN TURBO TAX

I have been using Turbo Tax for 10 years now! Never an error or problem! I love Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: SIMPLE SIMPLE SIMPLE! I LOVE THAT ALL MY INFORMATION IMPORTS FROM PREVIOUS YEARS
What's not so great: HAVE TO PAY TO EFILE STATE RETURNS
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

The software was easy to use and easy to update. The sections for income and deductions was very thorough and detailed. The questions were short and to the point! Liked very much importing from previous year.
After software updates, found it cumbersome to get to the exact point where I left off before update.
What's great about it: Detailed, easy, and fast.
What's not so great: Backtracking after software update was cumbersome.

I did my taxes in just 4.5 hours!

Nice program. It took me to the Intuit FAQ's when I had a question and each and every time I asked I got a clear and concise answer. I hate paying a state e-filing fee. Who charges that? Intuit or my state? Make it free e-file for state. I like that my audit risk was at the lowest on the bar it could go after Turbo Tax rechecked my return for errors. It also needs to explain better how to enter the lines for Casualties like the hail damage my roof received. It was confusing to know what to enter where I had to study and error repair at end anyway.
What's great about it: I can do them at my leasure, have glass of juice, pause and shovel the sidewalk, keep all my personal documents at home
What's not so great: Turbo tax could have inserted some data automatically for me but made me dig thru last years return.

Not as satisfied as usual

I'm a big fan of TubroTax, but this year;s online version felt clunkier than usual. Also, I had a 1099 C on rental property, and TurboTax couldn't deal with it and wasn't very helpful in giving me hints other than tell me to see a tax expert .
What's great about it: Works great for most of my needs
What's not so great: Dealing with 1099C
