The lack of ability to print any page on the screen is a real irritant.
The only option is to make prints screens which are:
Not Searchable
Not Friendly
Irregular in Size
What's great about it: Accurate Through Program
What's not so great: Somewhat difficult to Navigate

I've used TT for several years - it seems to keep getting easier.
What's great about it: Very thorough
What's not so great: Applying refund to next year difficult and not done - frustrating

Gets better every year!

TurboTax has changed each of the years for the 20+ years I have been using it. Some years, it seemed like it regressed, but this year's version was the best ever...it seemed flawless throughout!
What's great about it: I have been using TurboTax forever, and this year's version was the best yet!
What's not so great: Didn't state e-filing used to be free?

2013 TurboTax

I used the Home and Business version this year vs the Premier version last year. The handling of my rentals business was much simpler this year. The program is easy to use overall. There are things about entering tax data that can be confusing but after several passes, I caught on.
I had a problem with the program picking up last year's data from a file I created simply for estimating my 2014 liability using the 2013 program. The correct file was in the folder with the estimate file but I could not figure out how to get the correct file used for last year's data. The Help function was no use for this case. It appears I need to move the estimate file out of the folder and then start a new return (re-enter all data) in order to get the correct last year's data.
What's great about it: Easy to use. Covers each topic step by step so the process is simple.
What's not so great: I don't like the last correction that doesn't come up until the filing process is nearly finished.
Pros: I moved

Even the Math-Challenged Can Do This!

I plan to use Turbotax Home & Business again next year, Have used it for a number of years, It's easy and it's great knowing that each entry is automatically entered other places in the tax return when necessary. I'm Math-Challenged but Turbotax takes the worry out of doing my tax return.
What's great about it: Easy, step by step walk thru
What's not so great: No help in calculating net operating loss or even determining if eligible.

A Necessary Evil Made Tolerable

We have used TurboTax (Home and Office version) for several years for somewhat complicated federal and state returns. As I use it I am aware of both the inherent complexity of the programs and the quality of both the functionality and the way the program communicates with the user. Intuit has managed to convert to plain but accurate English the incredibly arcane and complex tax laws. I also can't help but imagine the army of people that it takes to maintain such a highly complex application, the internal rules for which are constantly in flux. There are times when I have difficulty finding or returning to a specific field. I can usually solve the problem by using the Help Center. Sometimes it takes a couple of tries to find the correct answer, but the correct answers are very clear. There are alternatives and I'm glad that TT is as good as it is. More important than the annual investment is the history of returns and the automatic incorporation of prior year information in the latest return.
What's great about it: Excellent functionality for a highly complex and constantly updated program.
What's not so great: Occasionally it's difficult to get to, or back to, a specific area or field. Can usually be solved with Help Center.
