Great job, I'm lovin it.

Turbo Tax makes filing a tax return almost a pleasure experience. Before Turbo Tax it was too lengthy and miserable experience to file your taxes. It is fantastic to see how much money and time you save the average individual in filing their taxes. Thank you many times over.
What's great about it: I love the way you give the choice of guiding the individual or let them go at their own pace.
What's not so great: State took to long to update a 1099-R Form and I was not able to update Form until I was transmitting my taxes.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Greatest Program I've Ever Used!

I sometimes want extra copies of some of the forms and don't have a copier and don't live near a town and it is easier for me to just print another copy from the computer so I don't like the fact that they made me print the whole tax return with worksheets to get the other copies I needed instead of leaving the program the way it has always been and let you choose what forms you want to print.
What's great about it: Very user friendly, easy to move around in, asks you all the questions about your taxes that you might forget, does math
What's not so great: This year they changed the program and to get Federal Worksheet had to print entire Taxes w/ worksheets

Turbo Tax is an old friend and will continue to be

We have been together for many years (mid eighties or so) I have seen nothing but great improvement over the years. Thank you Turbo Tax and continue to improve and stay user friendly.
What's great about it: User friendly.
What's not so great: Would like to print some screens before filing.

If some income has a corresponding deduction, include it in the income section as to what may be deducted later. Example, I had gambling winnings which I could offset equally be gambling losses, but couldn't find the place to taek the deduction until the end.
What's great about it: Excellent questions about each deduction
What's not so great: Wasn't clear until I looked at final copy where the Social Security adjustment was. I

Sweet and Smple

If your finances are pretty simple and you have itemized deductions, this is outstanding software. I love how it shows your tax refund or liability as you progress through the process. Because of this software, I kind of enjoy tax time!
What's great about it: Easy to follow and to edit. Gives you as much direction and help as you need or want

great and easy

I've always used an accountant, but this year tried Turbo Tax for small businesses and was hesitant at first because I am no accountant. i found it quite easy and self explanatory. It walks you through deductions and I felt quite secure that I did it all right and was getting the best return.
What's great about it: easy
What's not so great: first timer nerves
