stuck in "do" loop.

I got the email notice of Alabama form 40 and NOL-something being ready for use. When revisited for "check updates" in program, no updates occurred. Still waiting for updates and/or response to FAQ on web site.
What's great about it: notified when forms ready to update
What's not so great: update didn't occur when tried
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Easy As Falling Off a Log

I have been using Turbo Tax for many years and the product has been getting easier and easier to use. Turbo Tax retrieves the necessary information for the return from Quicken and from the previous year's tax return in Turbo Tax without awkward and painful manipulations of data in preparation. It remembers where the data was the next year and is even easier to use in the subsequent year. Prior to submitting the completed return, Turbo Tax checks the returns, both Federal and State, and when errors or missing information is found, the explanations to resolve the problem are easy to follow which reduces frustration in the process of completing and filing the return. Turbo Tax makes electronic filing easy, too, eliminating unintended input mistakes by the user or an IRS person inputting from a paper form.
What's great about it: Easy to Use, Easy to Navigate, Easy Explanations All Along the Way
What's not so great: Still Have To Pay What is Owed, But Guides Check For Additional Deductions That May Have Been Overlooked

They Make Doing Taxes So Easy!

This is my 13th year to use TurboTax, and it seems to get easier and better with each year! For the second year in a row, I downloaded the program right to my computer...one less step in the process. Because so many pertinent details "flow" from one tax year's return to the next, the time it takes to file is minimized. I really like the feature that shows an almost constant comparison with last year's return. And my confidence level is HIGH, especially since the Error Check catches those data entry mistakes...and then you can run it again to make sure you got it right. I look forward to receiving my text/emails saying my Fed and State returns have been ACCEPTED...a super nice feature I experienced in years past. Thank you TurboTax for making this annual chore a lot less difficult!

2013 is Better then Ever

I've been doing my own returns with TurboTax for many years. This year's product seemed easier to use then previous editions. I would recommend it to anyone who can use a computer. We have lots of deductions and TurboTax organizes the deductions very well.
I need the Home and Business edition because my wife gets a 1099 from her part time secretary job at our church. I also produce the 1099's & W2's and the W3 for the other people at our church with "Home and Business TurboTax".
What's great about it: Was able to prepare W-2's and W3's and 1099's with ease.
What's not so great: None that I can think of at this time.
