A product of exceptional quality!!

I have been doing taxes for a lot of years and can say that TurboTax has been my electronic tool of choice! It is exceptionally easy to use, it is intuitive and provides impeccable service whether it is 2PM or 2AM. TurboTax continues to make my life easier and I actually look forward to tax time. Many thanks Intuit!
What's great about it: Focused on what I need and helpful to the highest degree. Very intuitive and easy to navigate
What's not so great: Cons??!! What cons? :)
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

THINGS THAT SHOULD BE CHANGED

It is a great program but a few things should be changed. You should ask to check for updates before we start the return not at the end. Secondly the SSA1042s should be shown on the 1040 forms as many people that receive social security in Europe receive that form. the SSA1099 does not have tax withheld, however the SSA1042 does and that is why it should be shown on the 1040 forms. This is important for those who are filing to get a refund.
What's not so great: YOU SHOULD ASK ABOUT THE UPDATES BEFORE A PERSON HAS TO START THE RETURN,

Quick & Easy!

TurboTax made took the guesswork and difficulty out of filing my taxes and as a result I was able to get them done rather quickly and with confidence that there are done right!
What's great about it: The software is extremely easy to use and even imported my W-2 info from ADP! Awesome!
What's not so great: None
Pros: I had a baby

Getting Better Every Year

Each year you guys have made things easier to understand. This was my first year filing Schedule C and it was painless. But I knew to have all my numbers ready. If you could include a video on expenses not to forget to include in Schedule C that might help. The "we will get to that later" on anything is helpful because sometimes you are stuck on whether to continue or not.
What's great about it: My first year with an internet business and everything was easy and smooth.

Simple & successful

Overall Turbo Tax is a great product. I've used the software every year since 1996, and have watched it grow and evolve into a simple, user-friendly product. It's comprehensive yet simple enough for the typical computer user to navigate & successfully complete their taxes in a quick & timely manner.
What's great about it: Steps you thru & double-checks at the end
What's not so great: Had difficulty doing deductions for 2 separate home offices
