I would recommend this program to my family/friends. I just wish I had "bit the bullet" 5 years ago! I would have gotten back several thousand dollars more than I had previously.
What's great about it: quick, user friendly, can view how the actual forms are being filled out along with the worksheets
What's not so great: when you input data incorrectly/add a form that doesn't belong, it's not clear how to remove that form
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Like a good teacher, Turbo Tax just holds your hand through all the required forms.
I have seen on some forms, my street address gets truncated. Since my mailing address is different from my physical address - many forms do not clarify if physical or mailing address is needed- this is a flaw and oversight from the govt forms themselves. Be nice to have Turbo be clearer to know which address to give.
What's great about it: Year and Year - I can plug and play the numbers to even plan for each year.
What's not so great: Address field not all printing on forms (length limits)

Most of the entries are very easy to fill, only problems come up with documentation, Keep good records of rentals and expenses and this program is a snap!!

Tax form 1099

Very easy to work with, need to automatically skip to the next field when inputting a City, I had to go redo all the forms but it caught that I put the entire City, St and Zip on first box, couldn't see the St and Zip box until I tried to finish.
Other than that, it was flawless, no more hand written 1099's.

I have been using TurboTax for 10 years and love it! I used to have to pay almost 3 times as much money to a tax accountant to enter my information, because the paperwork overwhelmed me. With TurboTax, I answer simple questions, and it puts everything in the right place. Thank you, TurboTax for saving me money and giving me the confidence to prepare my own taxes!
