Simplified my January

I have used TurboTax since 2004. While it is easy to follow, sometimes I have to go outside the program for line-specific answers. I have a ranch (Schedule F), a small business (Schedule C), rental property and royalty income (Schedule E). TurboTax handles the C better than the F. The E works well. Obviously I like this product since I use it every year. It is almost as easy to complete the return as it is to gather info for a CPA.
What's great about it: Easy way to generate W-2's and 1099-s for my small business
What's not so great: The screen freezes when checking for errors so I don't know if it did or did not actually check

Simple and Fast

Taxes were very easy to finish...I feel much more confident than I did before I used TurboTax

Helpful to small businesses and independents

If you're a small business like me, then you can't afford to let your own investments get out of hand. Get Turbo Tax today and keep using it through the years...I use it together with QuickBooks another great product to help your business succeed. Both are Intuit products. I know you will be please. I am.
What's great about it: I like everything about it.
What's not so great: I would like to see the forms list menu a little bit more detailed and easier to navigate on your own.

I started out this years tax season like I have done in prior years. Get to the office early, make a cup of strong coffee, grabbed a bottle of cold water, sit behind my desk and installed the current TurboTax Home and Business tax software. Installation was fast, successful and no errors! Upon launching TurboTax, I answered a few questions and then imported our 2012 small business data. Again no errors! I proceeded to update our data for 2013. I was able to enter, review and make changes without any problems. TurboTax then checked for errors. Finding none! I printed my documents for filing. I was still on my 1st cup of coffee and it was still hot although I did finish the bottle of water. A+ for TurboTax.
What's great about it: So easy to prepare all my 1099 forms.
What's not so great: None so far.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

nice & easy to follow, use, and understand

I enjoy doing our taxes with Turbo Tax, thank you for putting it all together for all of us.
What's great about it: easy to understand
What's not so great: wish we could just pay a small fee to update each year, instead of having to purchase a new one each year.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Turbo Tax Review

Year after year I use Turbo Tax as does my family. I recommend it to anyone. You keep up with all the tax laws and such and super user friendly. I would say Keep it up Turbo Tax.

Makes complicated returns easy

I used to put off my return to the last minute (and I always get a refund)! It was so confusing and I was afraid to make a mistake. I've used TurboTax for about 15 years now. The easy guide, with simple questions makes me feel so confident. I especially like the feature where I can see what my last year's answer was. That helps me remember if I've forgotten something.

swift and painless

i had the Home and Business version. turbotax is solid if you have a simple return like i did. i could use a more extensive list for business expenses. this will help me plan for my new year. it would be nice if turbotax offered a planning worksheet based on previous year's taxes. thank you and good work!
