When creating W-2 and 1099-MISC for a business, one of the first screens requests whether the user needs to fill out W-2 and 1099-MISC. There's a checkbox for each. Later, when the user gets to the 1099-MISC section, the software asks for a yes/no whether the user wants to fill out a 1099-MISC (again). If the user checks yes in the opening screen and no in the later screen, the software ignores the second "no" and still wants the user to input the information. This should be fixed. In my case, I thought I had to fill one out at the beginning, but later realized I didn't meet the limit.
Great tax software, easy to do. Except - Made me pay for state e-filing before finding out I didn't need to, because the state wouldn't let me do it.... and have to wait several days to ask for a refund, so don't know how that will go.
What's great about it: Very easy to do
What's not so great: Made me pay before finding out I didn't need to
