turbo basic

I did taxes for all sorts of entities for 37 years until health issues forced me to retire. I have used many different tax programs. I have found that for a return that is uncomplicated I prefer Turbo Tax Basic. I only do family now but that includes retired and still working educators, handicapped and my elderly mother with investments.
What's great about it: easy to understand and use with a little prior tax knowledge

Best and Least TAXING way to file

Good Product and I have used it for years. There is no reason to pay high dollar fees to preperation "professionals" when you can do it yourself!!
What's great about it: Do it at your pace in your place!
What's not so great: Takes awhile to find help if you have questions but they are there!!
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Easy to use

I find Turbo Tax very easy to use. I completed my own and a friend's return with very few questions. I will use it again next year.
What's great about it: Very easy to use
What's not so great: Don't need to be asked to spend extra $ on programs I don't need

TurboTax gets easier every year and I really like the way everything is carried over from year to year. I also like the download capability. That saves a great deal of time and improves accuracy.
What's great about it: I've used TurboTax for years and gets easier every year.
What's not so great: Can't think of a thing.

What a time saver

I particularly liked the quick response to whether I was subject to AMT.
And the sheet that explained the adjustments of taxable income for qualified dividends and Capital gain distribution was clear and very helpful.

What's great about it: All the calculations are pruinted out for review without having to read a lot of inapplicable instructions.

Turbo Tax makes filing stress free and with ease

I have used Turbo tax for the last 4 years and I find it so easy and helpful to use. I like the professionalism of this company.. All the questions I have asked were all answered correctly. This has saved me a lot of time, rather trying to look up the answers in the tax instructions. I have picked up on a lot of good suggestions also. I have ordered 2014. Thank you Turbo Tax and all your staff. Linda
