I like TurboTax a lot ... so easy to use, and for someone whose tax situation is rather straightforward, it's a great product.
I had one issue that stumped me however, and that was in filling forming 8938 for foreign bank accounts. I wanted to know if interest earned on the foreign bank account was taxable if the interest remained in the foreign account, i.e. if I didn't transfer the earned interest into the United States. I also did various IRS searches and Google searches but could never get an answer to that question.
What's great about it: Easy to use for someone with no accounting or tax experience
What's not so great: Tax question remained unanswered

We can do our calculations, print out the product, and have a third party verify the results

What's great about it: Covers all aspects of Income and Deductions
What's not so great: I did not understand some of the questions

Fast & Easy Tax Filing

Have been using Turbo Tax for years & will continue to do so!
What's great about it: Fast & easy to answer questions - walked me through each step
What's not so great: Kept asking me to get updates although I had done this several times

Asks for plan cost of annuity starting date, which I don't have and probably won't be able to obtain, which then would not let me efile. I have filed this same info for more than 20 yrs and after several years of using Turbo Tax - I won't use it anymore..
What's great about it: Enters info in proper place
What's not so great: Cannot override a question that I shouldn't have to answer after more than 20 yrs of receiving the pension

Turbo Tax asks all the right questions -- in an understandable, straightforward, interactive format. All you have to do is answer the questions. Turbo Tax transfers all the information from your answers to the appropriate blanks on the pertinent IRS form(s). You can go at your own pace, and your work is automatically saved at whatever point you might be. You are essentially coached, and you can go back to review or edit any of your previous entries. Turbo Tax does a final review before your return is submitted. Rest assured it will be accurate and consistent with any IRS updates!
What's great about it: Keeps up with IRS!
What's not so great: None

I like using the same tax product year after year. I am used to TurboTax and find it a good product.
What's great about it: consistent to use year after year; easy to update information from last year to this year's return.
