I'm hooked

Turbotax requires that you declare all Civil Service Retirement income as taxable. In fact, it is not all taxable. It then generated distribution to be removed (from my total contributions). Turbotax makes this calculation but is hidden until you review. This is different from previous versions.
What's great about it: Carries all previous info forward to next year. Especially helpful for small business.
What's not so great: Civil Service Retirement income should not be lumped w/ other plans that required distributions. Input confusing.

A serious FLAW

I made a serious mistake thinking this was thorough. It set up for "married filing jointly" ok. But when entering retirement for one person, it did not tell me to re-enter all the information for the other person.
I erased it when the page came up, thinking the 1099-R information was added in. Did not tell me to repeat the process for the second person in the same retirement pool (The State of Florida)
It took me a long time to figure out why my withholding amounts on Turbo did not add up to my worksheet I made.
should have a way to PROTECT THE PDF'S DOWNLOADED TO THE COMPUTER. TOO EASY TO HACK....
What's great about it: Thorough
What's not so great: Did not allow for husband/wife on SAME SOURCE retirement accts.
