Turbo Tax makes tax preparation easy. Thank you for a great product!
What's great about it: I like the easy guide that walks me through it and the automatic calculations.
What's not so great: Sometimes I can't find something I need to change.

TurboxTax Saves the Day

TurboTax makes it so easy to do my taxes. Within two hours, I have everything completed. The fact that TurboTax accesses returns from past years reduces the need to enter the same information year after year. It is very efficient and a time saver.
What's great about it: Ease of use and level of detail

Better than the other guy

I have been a customer for the other tax company for many years. Last year I bought an electric car and I also installed a charging station at my home and needed a Form 8911 to get credit. Alas the other guy doesn't support the form. A quick search of the internet and it seems that they knew about this problem for years. Well, needless to say, I am now a Turbo Tax user. If the other tax company doesn't respond to a known problem that involves a tax form the IRS provides, what kind of other things do they ignore? Perhaps they should rename the software Tax (form) Cut.
What's great about it: Actually had all the forms I needed
What's not so great: It took me years to move to tax cut

Easy as always!

I have used Turbo Tax since 1996 to file my Federal Income taxes and as usual the 2013 package was inexpensive and easy to download and use. Warning though, if you have purchased a new computer in the past 12 months be sure that your previous files remain in an easy to browse to file location and that none of those generated by Turbo Tax have been renamed.
What's great about it: quick concise questions presented in logical order
What's not so great: The program would not upload my 2012 pdf file. I had changed its name from the default and it did not recognize it.

Good but can be better

i got my money's worth with Turbotax.
However, I got into trouble with the IRS 2 years in a row because not all accounts from one Mutual Fund and from one Bank were downloaded. It happened again this year, so I had to add manually the missing accounts.

Suggest early reminder with links to search online for updates. I almost forgot to search for updates.
What's great about it: Easy step by step process
What's not so great: Almost forgot to check for updates that included more information reference sales tax deductions
