Turbo Tax seems to be getting quicker and easier. Relatively painless and stress free. Would be helpful to provide reminders as to what kind of documentation I need for deductions in advance. Sometimes it's hard to remember.
What's great about it: Relatively quick and easy.
What's not so great: It brings home the realization how much of my money the government is squandering.

It seems to be getting more expensive every year plus so many add-ons (for a price).
I've always used Turbo however, all my neighbors have switched to other less expensive software and they are happy.
I'm going to borrow their software and re-do my taxes, just as a test.

I love it, the goverment accepts and even recommends it..... what more needs to be said.
What's great about it: If used Turbo Tax since it was available. Simple, easy and most accurate.
What's not so great: 2013 version not as clear on some things as previous years. But still the best thing going.

I have used Basic Turbo Tax for years. If you do not have a complicated return, this is the way to go.

Years of easy returns!

We have used Turbo Tax for several years and love how easy it is to navigate. I like that I can do it at home without having to bare my financial soul to a stranger. Some new forms were required with a newly retired husband, but Turbo Tax walked us right through every step. Total time was about 2 hours, no appointment necessary, no waiting in line at the tax office, no sending sensitive information onto a website. Wouldn't do my taxes any other way.
What's great about it: Have used 5+ yrs. Guides every step, makes suggestions, does the calculations automatically, warns about audit risks
What's not so great: A little trouble with downloading updates, quickly resolved
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

It gets the job done.

The printing of the return did not work as it should. Spacing is not correct and many words are spaced over other words and figures.
What's great about it: It's fast and easy
What's not so great: i dont like paying taxes. HA HA

The return continued showing 'alimony' for which I neither provided or received. This was almost impossible to correct.
I rely on TurboTax to maintain excellence.
What's great about it: Gathering of information is a plus
What's not so great: Making corrections was cumbersome
