IRA Entries very difficult

I left my employer. I asked that my 401(k) to be rolled over to a Roth IRA via my Roth IRA guardian. Boxes 1 and 7 on the 1099-R had the same amount, and the distribution code was 7. This is because my former employer mailed the check to me, which I immediately mailed to my Roth IRA guardian. However, it was not clear to me at all how to indicate that his was a perfectly legitimate way to do the roll over. Instead, Turbo Tax thought I had taken possession of the entire amount and tried to tell me I owed taxes on that distribution. A related problem with the distribution for my wife led to Turbo tax telling me the partial distribution should be left blank or the total distribution box should be cleared. I had no idea what that meant. Usually, Turbo tax is clear and easy to use, but I found this year's version tried to be too "cute" and then instructions on how to do something seemed to come after questions arose.
What's not so great: 401(k) roll-overs to Roth IRA not easy or intuitive

Frustration Central

I no longer own my own business, yet it imported Schedules from last year when I did own my own business. No way to delete this information? Very frustrating, just hope I don't get audited.
What's great about it: Installed easily
What's not so great: Can not remove my Business Expenses since I no longer have business
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

1099-B issues

everything went fine except with I think there is something wrong with 1099-B process. I don't think your system acknowledged the sale of $2800 dollars of stock as income and I feel there is going to be a problem. my tax bill didn't change after entering this amount. It was part of an Employee Stock Purchase Plan. A very simple transaction that I don't think was handled properly. I will have to wait and see what happens. I don't understand how your program handled this income. I don't think it was included with my wife's W2, but maybe it was. More clarification would be nice in this area

What's not so great: I think there is something wrong with 1099-B process

No Hassle, Uncomplicated

I found the Easyguide very helpful because it reminded me what paperwork was needed before the start of each section; and even if I didn't have it available at the time, I was still able to go back and complete the section afterwards.
What's great about it: I like the step by step easguide, and if any questions can always ask for support.
What's not so great: Updates for the product weren't available at the very beginning of the year.

I found Turbo Tax much easier to use than H&R Block Delux
What's not so great: Once you find out your client is from FL. you should forget about state returns.
