Turbo Tax

I have been using Turbo Tax for years and find it easy and accurate.
What's great about it: Does all math and helps find errors and mistakes
What's not so great: Charges a fee for state return. Ohio I-File is free.

This was the easiest return ever....I have been using Turbo Tax for years and the streamlining built in is great. I understand every question asked and was never confused by the language in the program.

You should be able to go directly to the tax return to correct incorrect information,. I could not separate my employer HSA contribution from my personal and I should have been able to deduct my personal contribution. The difference between my gross income and my taxable income was only my 401(K) contribution and not my HSA contribution.
What's great about it: Easy to input information
What's not so great: Would not let me correct the HSA deduction and it cost me a couple hundred dollars

I've been with Turbo Tax for over fifteen years. Each year it gets better. Not only are the obvious questions forwarded, but the items most people don't realize or forget about are brought into light. This program really has made my dreaded tax preparation much more palatable. It's the friendliest tax person I've met to date. Thanks
What's great about it: Easy, complete, into the nicks and crannies of taxes.
What's not so great: A little repetitious after each field entry
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

I have used Turbo Tax for years. It fits our needs quite nicely, as it has addressed all the major events in our lives that impact our tax situation. It helps find overlooked deductions and advises which deduction method is best for your particular situation. I will always use Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: So intuitive, like sitting next to a tax professional
What's not so great: Can't think of any
