A Pain Removed

This is the 5th or 6th year using Turbo Tax. Now that I am retired it is easier than ever. Now down to using basic instead of Deluxe Business package. Each year Turbo Tax is easier to use and the saving and transferring data is a time saver. Will continue to use Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Questions flowed in a logical manner
What's not so great: None

It was a wonderful experience until I got to the end and tried to efile. I was prompted to "update" my Turbo Tax, I tried but was told that the program was up to date. I tried again and again still getting the same prompt to "update". Frustrated, I went online to the site and noticed that another filer had the same problem. Make sure you don't have any other taxes in your applications folder. Sure enough, my 2012 previous years program needed updating (I had already filed a year ago) so I updated that and then my 2013 taxes went through. You should fix it so that the previous year does not negate the current year.
What's great about it: Fast, Accurate, Reliable
What's not so great: Trouble efiling

Almost too easy!

Since we use TurboTax every year, we never have to reenter any of the normal information, and it is easy to see if we have missed something that we claimed the year before. If I had to drive hundreds of miles to buy TurboTax, I would do it without hesitation. The Social Security Benefits Worksheet page alone is worth buying this product. My time is valuable, and TurboTax saves me hours and hours.
The best tax preparation program by far!!
What's great about it: Put in your numbers, and it is done!!
What's not so great: None

A form TD F 90 for file of foreign investments is no longer provided by TTax. I called Turbo Tax for advise and received outstanding service in securing the proper form from Treasury but in-addition your service personnel stayed on-line to assisted me with filing this form. This service greatly assisted me with FY2013 filing but also prepared me with the info to file my next year tax. Fan forever.

@013 Turbo Review
on February 24, 2014

Being Past User ( many years ), I knew what to expect. This year's form filings kinda screwed me up because when entering earning amount(s) on a joint return, Turbo in the past would ask about me, the ask about spouse.. This years Step by Step didn't identify clearly that one would enter both at the same point. ie..Lets enter "Jack's numbers" and now "Let's enter Marys"..got confusing to me..What about a new user??
What's great about it: Straight Foward..Fill in the blanks
What's not so great: Past User..Did Not follow past Usage Format
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
