TurboTax Works Beautifully With Mac

This was the first year I owned a Mac instead of a Windows machine, so finding the correct download was a little harder this year. I got assistance over the phone and everything worked as promised. Way to go TurboTax!
What's great about it: Works very smoothly
What's not so great: A little hard to find the right download
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

The software was a good tool for filing my tax return, but the advertising did seem a bit too excessive.
What's great about it: simplified questions
What's not so great: too much advertising

while it may not be common, it is very difficult to efile the federal and mail the state return. Program is not intuitive as how to do this.

Easy way to file taxes

I have been filing using Turbo Tax many years now.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax guided my through several new sections that were needed
What's not so great: Sometimes it is hard to go through many sections, but tax laws are being complex

Straightforward tax preparation program

I've been using TurboTax for many years now, since the 1980s ... have always been very satisfied with it.
However, the state income tax deduction area could be clearer - when viewing the fed & state income taxes paid area, you cannot see the dollar amounts in the summary screen (unlike other areas which show the amounts). Especially if you have two or more states you are filing in, verifying the total state tax deduction amount is important - there can be withholding, estimated payments, or payments applied from prior year for multiple states.
What's great about it: Nice job with new net investment income tax
What's not so great: Could be clearer wtih state income tax deduction calculation

What's great about it: 15 minutes to prepare and e-file
What's not so great: wont make one up. it was flawless
