"no going back"

At the finish, I realized I had left some numbers out. Unable to go back to square one without program directing me to an amended tax form. Then....it becomes confusing. That added to time.

Step-by-step is easy to follow

I have used Turbotax for several years now and I have never had one problem with the IRS over any returns filed. The format is easy to follow...several improvements have been made over the years to make the program even easier to follow...and I like having the personal information and carryovers saved so that it can make the current year easier to file. You do a great job making an accurate, user-friendly product.
What's great about it: Ability to easily enter info and edit if necessary
What's not so great: None

Was expecting much better

I have an extremely simple tax return and it took entirely too long. There is other software for a significantly lesser price that would have the same service. I will most likely try a new tax software next year.
What's great about it: Step by step guidance
What's not so great: I waited a very long time for the updates. Prolonging the tax experience is not what anyone wants.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments
