Clean and Accurate Process

As a former Tax Return Preparer I was pleased with this years program. I have been a user since inception and the detail is very good, especially in the advanced programs. Updates are always there when I finally sit down and do mine at the last minute. Best program for taxes, maybe but I have found no better I can tell you that much.
What's great about it: No hassle to use or learning curve. Follow the prompts or go to what you want to review
What's not so great: Almost forgot a deduction but the program already found it. but no reminder or notice of Sch D carryforward
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

More Than I Expected

I highly recommend getting Turbo Tax if your new or Professional to doing your taxes.
The Turbo Tax Program leaves you feeling confident on completing your return that everything you entered is correct. I love the way it catches errors in typing your numbers in and lets you correct them on the spot instead of having to go back and correct at the end. Thank you for providing a superb product. I like how support gets back to you right away, you don't have to wait forever for a response.
I will be sure to tell everyone that I know how good Turbo Tax is.

I was very impressed with turbo tax.. this was my first year filing with it and I did mine and my mothers federal taxes this year. The process was so smooth, I WAS NOT EXPECTING THATat all because every year sitting in with a tax preparer feels like a trip to the dentist, long, almost painful and knowing that its necessary but never looking forward to the visit. With turbo tax all the long boring stuff was removed because i didnt have to hear someone drone off questions at me, I could just read and respond which is much quicker :) the only problem i had was that filing for state taxes cost so much much more than what i actually paid for the turbo tax but i know now that was an error on my part next year I will purchase the turbo tax with federal and state together for more ease...thats right I will buy again next and the year after and.... well you get the point!! Thank You Turbo Tax! (p.s. we actually got our refunds back faster this year than we have ever gotten them back so big giant plus there)
What's great about it: quick, user friendly, and reliable
What's not so great: cost extra to file for state.... but I know now what to do.

Makes Filing Simple & Easy

Have used TurboTax for years and it seems to be getting easier to use all the time. The Help feature could be improved & I don't think I should have to pay for an upgrade just to get some additional info. That being said, TurboTax Help is certainly easier to understand than the IRS publications! Overall, I am very happy with TurboTax and would recommend it to anyone (unless they have a very complicated tax situation - but then, they would probably go to a CPA for help anyway).
What's great about it: Loads info from previous return; takes you thru step by step
What's not so great: Help sections sometimes not informative enough; don't want to pay more money for additional help!
