2013 turbo tax review

My first time using Turbo tax in many years. I liked it, found it easy to use, and liked the fact they selected wether to file long form or short . I think a general explanation on the first page as to how the software will walk you through it would be better. It would be nice if they included an explanation as to wether you needed to do a state form or not. i.e. for NH etc
What's great about it: easy to use , nice to have explanations immediately available
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

I am 67 years young however computers are not my strong suit, however, having said that, this dinosaur was able to navigate through this program with relative ease. Thank you TT

I have used Turbo Tax for over 10 yrs, this past year was the first year I had an HSA. It seemed a little confusing through the HSA section, probably would help to have more popup explanations through the HSA sections to help first timers like me. Still a really great service you provide.
What's great about it: the over all process is very easy

We've used Turbo Tax since 2003, and can't omagine going back to doing taxes by hand.
What's great about it: Greatly simplifies preparation of tax forms.
What's not so great: Rounding of dollar amounts causes some verification difficulties.

Every Year It Gets Worse

My biggest complaint this year is that the program makes you go through the long process of itemizing deductions (including tenuous entering of data like addresses of charities) only to find out that the standard deduction applies.
Also, the program did not export last years tax return to this years program. I expect more for this cost.

What's great about it: Suitable Online tool for submitting Federal taxes.
What's not so great: Cost to purchase program to file taxes on line.

Better money than last year.......YAHOO!!!!

As in previous years, I found Turbo-Tax to be the best money I spent for Tax prep. It made inputting, calculating, and filing very easy, and accurate. Always have recommended it to my friends and family.
What's great about it: Quick, easy, detailed, makes it fast!
What's not so great: Added cost to do a State filing.

Prolonged excitement

I was happy for the most part on filing with TurboTax. I will continue to file my taxes with TurboTax because accountants can be very unprofessional and bias sometimes. I started filing my own taxes since 2011 and I don't regret it.
What's great about it: Filing taxes was easy and fast.
What's not so great: No real-person help if I get stuck.
