Very Good, but . . .

I received a pop-up note while completing my return which said too much was withdrawn in Social Security tax and I would be owed a separate return, but nothing showed up on the summary report I got after filing. Would have been nice to get the additional information.
What's great about it: Great tool, easy to use
What's not so great: Social Security Overpayment
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

I have used turbotax now for the past 10 years and the product is wonderful worth every penny- makes filing your taxes a stress free experience
What's great about it: Easy step by step instructions easy to navigate and understand
What's not so great: Always want to charge for protection it would be nice if at least some protection was free

2013 Tax Year Turbotax (Basic Version)

I use TurboTax every year, and greatly appreciate the convenience provided by automatic carry-forward of personal information and previous-year data. The step-by-step data-entry option gives guidance which provides wonderful assurance that nothing is being overlooked; and the direct-form-access option provides faster completion, if income and deduction patterns don't change much from year to year. I have used both options to good advantage.
I also appreciate the fact that each year's TurboTax gets updated with latest changes in tax law, and the guidance gets updated accordingly. Also, the ease of access to IRS publications via on-line links is very convenient and helpful. The nominal cost of TurboTax software is well worth the investment--for the convenience, and the assurance it provides when I have completed and submitted my annual tax return.
What's great about it: easy step-by-step data entry in logical sequence, Easy access to individual forms if desired, easy retracing of steps
What's not so great: (can't think of any)

I love turbo tax... i haven't gotten an email when it accepts or rejects not susre why
What's great about it: i have used this program for years and its very user friendly
What's not so great: it doesn't seem to be emailing me when i get rejected

Very easy to use and not very expensive--good value.
What's great about it: Easy to follow; lots of review steps to help ensure a clean return
What's not so great: The charity list needs to stay in alpha order when one selects that rather than go to default after each entry.

Harder then I expected

Basic taxes are easy but any additional tax form get confusing and complicated. It gets the job done but its going to take some head scratching.
What's great about it: stream line process
What's not so great: 1099-DIV and 1099-B forms are very complicated

Still Good

I have a fairly simple return: investments, retirement and SS income, moderate deductions. Using step-by-step was quick, moving forward or back was easy, and overall experience was painless - almost too easy.
What's great about it: Almost too easy; no problems; will use (BASIC) again.
What's not so great: A little expensive, even for BASIC.
