couldn't go on to state tax return. didn'twant to look at medical option. couldn't get printout of form again.

I have use Turbo Tax for many years. I have a fairly easy return, but it is nice to know all bases are covered. Worth every cent of cost of program.
What's great about it: Just a great product

was caught in a loop with my state return. the program said I couldn't e-file my federal because I hadn't done my state, but I didn't have to file a state return. It tried to get me to buy a state return product, but again, confirmed that I didn't have to file. Finally figured out that if I just told it I would file my state return myself (even though I wouldn't) I could get to the federal e-file screen. there should be a button that says - don't have a state return to file at all.
What's great about it: simple download of info from brokerage
What's not so great: caught in a closed loop on state return that didn't need to be filed

Have used for many years . Easy to use and understand . First used for my business sold it and use it for personal taxes . Great software . Thank you for Turbo Tax

I've been using TurboTax for about 10 years and it's never let me down.
If you are looking for a tax program that is easy to use, year after year, TurboTax is it!
What's great about it: Very easy to use, thorough
What's not so great: State returns are expensive
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

Great tool for Taxes

TurboTax takes away the fear of filing taxes, especially for first time filers. It's very detailed and goes through each item in the most layman terms possible. I was not aware of the extra costs for state taxes forms and filing though, wish i had known in advance.
What's great about it: Very detailed, held-hand approach to tax filing.
What's not so great: Wish i was informed about State Tax extra frees
