Bad ending

It took six tries to get a printed copy to file and I never go a printed copy for my file. I have used turbo tax for the last 8 years with no problems. May not use it next year, You can do much better. Every one doesn't e-file.
What's great about it: good to the filing section
What's not so great: very bad trying to get thru filing

Filing issue with IP PIN

My only complaint is notification regarding entering of the IP PIN.
On my first attempt, I was not asked for my IP PIN that I received last year from the IRS as I was a victim of Indentity fraud. Therefore, my submission was rejected.
Finally, after I tried a second submission (with the same information), I slowly and thorloughly read the reject notice which states I need to go to the "Federal Taxes Tab" and click on "Other Situations" to enter my previously provided IP PIN.
Suggest that the filing screen where the-efilie PIN Number needs to be entered contains information about entering yoru IP PIN PREVIOUSLY received rom the IRS due to indenty fraud. (The screen does have information about OBTAINING an IP PIN, but does NOT discuss if you already have one.)
What's great about it: Easy to follow instructions. Import from Financial Institutions is great!
What's not so great: Electronic filing if IP PIN previously received. Rating would be 5 stars if this problem had not occurred.

very poor program

From the start the program was bug ridden. It would stop for no apparent reason. When trying to E-file it continually failed with a message telling me I needed to update the program. When I checked for updates the message said none were needed. It took over two week to finally file my taxes. Next year I will do it the old fashioned way. WASTE OF MONEY.
What's not so great: many bugs. confusing interface. no help.

Once again saves money and time

I've used TurboTax for several years and I'm quite happy with the cost, process, and outcome of using it. I recommend it and believe that it's one of the easiest tax programs to use.
What's great about it: Straightforward, inexpensive
What's not so great: Seems to be some duplicate info, but OK

Updates not clear

I filled out all the pages and thought I was done and the form would not file the tax report. What is wrong? Forms "Not Ready". What is not ready?!?! Had to call and get instuctions to update info. Why couldn't Turbo Tax tell you that updates will be needed? Not clear regarding this detail.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax is great...once you figure it out to update stuff
What's not so great: Nothing tells you to update
