Great Experience!

Another easy, rewarding, and customer-friendly experience. Turbo Tax is a wonderful utility for quickly filling out and filing your annual tax return. I've used it for years and have never had reason to use any competitor's product. Turbo Tax is that good!
What's great about it: easy
What's not so great: none for me

Speed, simplicity, smart

I've used Turbotax for more than a decade. It's improved most every year except that year they put DRM into it.
This year was exceptional because if I came to a deduction or expense section that didn't really apply, it moved on to a new section, I didn't have to wade through every single question.
This made it much easier to focus on specific parts that did apply and make me not worry that I didn't miss something.
Like income made outside of the United States, Once I said no to the main part it knew I didn't have to say I didn't get a income voucher etc from China or whatever.
Bravo.
What's great about it: very focused work flow

I was surprised at how much Turbo tax figured out I would get back. Yeah me! Yeah Turbo Tax!

This software is simple and excellent for anyone.

Overall this software is excellent, safe and no IRS worries of an audit. Just take a look at he section where it asked if I had a 1099R (Social Security) I answered it as "no". My point it never asked for Wife's 1099R and luckily for me I went back and answered "yes" then it showed both our names to respond to the 1099R question. Big note: I did get an audit way back when for not claiming my wife's 1099R #Social Security Disability# as income. Now that I know this since I was #am# working I must claim her Social Security as income. If I wasn't working and she was getting Social Security as the only source of income then I wouldn't have to claim it. So there you have it. Overall excellent!

I love TurboTax--easy to follow and thorough

I have used TurboTax for years, and I have convinced others to use it instead of paying high prices to have their taxes filed by the usual tax services. There were some young women with whom I worked (in accounting) who were afraid to do their own taxes until I showed one of them how to use the step by step process in TurboTax. Once we completed her return and e-filed, she was ecstatic at the satisfaction of preparing and filing her own taxes, and she saved over $100 by not using a tax service. She in turn showed a few of the other young ladies how to use TurboTax, and now they all do their own taxes. I also showed one of the dental assistants at my dentist's office how to prepare and file her own taxes after she had a horrific experience with one of the usual tax services. It is important to note the fact that TurboTax guarantees their product.
What's great about it: Step by step

Fast and accurate!

Having last years Turbo Tax data available speeds up the process. I was shocked to find so little of our SSI was taxable. I way over estimated my tax liability for 2013.
What's great about it: One hour from install to e-file!
What's not so great: kept asking me to do my Florida State Taxes. There is no Florida State Income Tax.
