Awesome Refund!

This is the greatest thing since sliced bread!
What's great about it: The ease of it all!
What's not so great: Not much, too easy!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

A must have product

I've used Turbo Tax for many years and wouldn't go back to preparing taxes by hand, ever! E-filing is also quick and convenient.

Kept asking me to fill out a form 6252. Didn't apply.
efile was cumbersome. Sent me to form 6252 which I had to phoney up to make it accept and when it returned me to efile I had to start all over. Sent me to get an update from you. When I returned it made me start all over. The offer to buy the state program was annoying. One "NO" should be enough. Every time I restarted the program it took me to the beginning instead of to the place I was at in the help me along process. There is no link to help (explain this) from the forms pages.

Awesome as always

Years and years of using TurboTax - I wouldn't think of using anything else. Easy to do, easy to understand, quick to complete and get my return. What more could I want? I have one sister who is a trained, paid tax preparer for a well known tax preparation service and another sister that is an established CPA specializing in taxes - I trust them but don't need to even consider asking them to do my taxes.
What's great about it: So easy to complete!
What's not so great: Should make renewal section more intuitive and easier.

Easy to use software that walks you through your return.
I would like to see information about what has changed in the tax laws from one year to the next on items that have major differences in amounts for no apparent reason.
Otherwise great software

Problems filing for decedent

I have filed my mother's taxes using Turbotax since her husband died 9 years ago. In 2013 my mother too passed away. Turbotax is supposed to be able to handle this, but after I imported my mother's information from her 2012 return and specified that she died in 2013, Turbotax began showing me screens that implied I was my mother's SPOUSE and started asking me questions about myself! Comments posted online indicated there would be a box I could check to identify myself as simply the preparer of the return, but I never found such a box. The only thing I could do was close out the record and start a new one *without* any imported data.
What's not so great: Tubotax concluded I was my mother's late husband
