Complex return, simplified to perfection

All told, best year yet and have used it for over 15 years
What's great about it: Stock trading simplified, FINALLY
What's not so great: Very poorly HSA instructions

I have no W-2, but have SSA-1099. won't let me complete without W-2. Can't find address to mail.
What's great about it: previous returns ok
What's not so great: this year not so much.

w-2 plus ssa-1099 double shot

have used TurboTax for the last two years due to income from regular business employment and social security. TurboTax automatically made adjustments for age and total income to calculate correct taxes. NICE!
What's great about it: no brainer for anyone
What's not so great: had installation error code 1603 but found the cure (windows xp issue)
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I will continue to use.
What's great about it: Inexpensive, easy to use.
What's not so great: Must take everything that is happening at face value which makes it a little uncomfortable.

Turbo Tax Works but is getting more expensive

I've used TurboTax for several years and it seems to work pretty well. I need to file a schedule C, but I didn't really need all the bells and whistles of the more expensive version that allows you to use Schedule C. Wish they had another option.
What's great about it: Allows me to file on my own

I really liked the program, which I have been using for many years, for younger taxpayers should be a really easy tool!
What's great about it: Quick and clear directions
What's not so great: Worksheets are filed with return?
