Best for over 20 years!

I've used turbo tax for over 20 years and wouldn't try to do my taxes without it.

this was a wonderful software that helped me ease my way into filing my first return by myself. the step by step guidance was excellent and very thorough.
What's great about it: was very direct and step by step
What's not so great: none that I saw
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Larger return than expected

I've used the online TurboTax before but this one was requested more details and helped me in the long run
What's great about it: It asked for more information than I was accustomed in answering, I guess to get me a larger refund
What's not so great: Some of the questions I wasn't sure if they were asking about me or about my dependent or spouse

Easy to use!

Easy to use, like that I can retrieve info from last return and do not have to enter all of the information again.

TurboTax did it again!

I have used TurboTax for years. I like the interview approach, and the option to skip over those areas that don't affect me, but still be able to be quickly educated to see if they do. I thought the import from Quicken would be real helpful.. and it can be for those that do an excellent job on accuracy in their Quicken entries. For me, I found doing a report in Quicken, then referring to it as I fill in TurboTax manually, works best.
What's great about it: Got my return done in a day ... with basic version. I am glad there is an "Explore on my own" option.
What's not so great: ..just ignore all the "we can sell you this" statements

only issue is adding bank routing info had to do it via manual search on field on the 1040 form to get the personal info worksheet to select direct deposit option. was not prompted during the easy step process.
