More than Meets the Eye

If you have someone to do your taxes, let them do it. esp. if its your first time using turbo tax. its user friendly yet time consuming with many updates needed in order to finish filing. took too long.
What's great about it: User Friendly
What's not so great: Too Many updates

Found it inconvenient upon resuming preparation that program did not pick up where I stopped ------ had to go through items/areas previously completed.
Will definitely use again next year.
What's great about it: Walk through steps seemed thorough but easy to follow
What's not so great: Changed computers during year and found it difficult to get current year to pick up data from prior year's return..

Had error from 1099-DIV import

I chose to import my 1099-DIV information. An error was given during the check at the end because there was no $0.00 in box 1(a). I'm not sure if that was a problem with the broker, or the import. But if the import...then could you make sure $0 translate as $0 and not as spaces/blanks. Thanks!

Dependable and Accurate

My family and I use TurboTax every year to complete our tax report and we've found it to be reliable, accurate and easy to use. The guides are invaluable and make the process smooth and simple to follow.
What's great about it: Easy to use.
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Poor vintage

Updates seem to stall/freeze program this year. Would not validate b/c update available but already downloaded. Tried, did not get prompt, restarting program and that seemed to fix validation issue.
Help popups seem well duh and not help
