Could not download last years data.
I had to reenter everything.
Program confusing, not user friendly.
User support non existant
Waited on the phone line 45 mins, finally hung up.
Very disappointed with turbo tax.

While having an issue with the charges at the end I called and was treated respectfully and all issues were resolved.
What's great about it: very helpful
What's not so great: unable to change mind on filing once credit card was entered.

I have always used Turbo Tax and cannot imagine any other program being any more intuitive or easy to use and the accuracy is great...Just gather your forms and figures, input, and get your taxes done in a jiffy...Thanks Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: Love the step by step process
What's not so great: Redundancy of all the unusual items from year to year

Filing my Taxes

Turbo tax is a meticulously programmed guide through the sometimes grueling experience of tax preparation. It constantly uses opportunities to find different ways to help the taxpayer to reap the biggest refund possible. It also asks questions that pursue a deduction you may not have pursued before.
What's great about it: User friendly/Concise/cuts to the chase/actually makes tax prep fun

Have been using Turbo Tax for over 20 years and each year it is a better experience. Can you just hold the main screen in place when it pops off to do something then returns so that you don't have to scroll down all the time? Other than that keep up the good work.
What's great about it: Easy to follow instructions in language anyone can understand.
What's not so great: Had to keep scrolling down to get to the next section.

Turbo tax takes the intimidation factor out of doing your taxes. The software makes it easy and straight forward. I enjoy having the confidence that my taxes were done accurately and that I got the largest refund possible.
What's great about it: Love step by step guidance and importing feature.
What's not so great: Let people know in advance if it is worthwhile to itemize based on certain criteria. It would save us a lot of time.

Good Product

I love Turbo Tax and have used it for many years. I just wish they would program which states have income tax and which don't. I get tired of telling the program that I do not want to file state income tax when Tennessee does not have one.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Keeps wanting to file state income tax return and we do not have state income tax
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
