If one is getting a refund, question should be asked if one wants direct deposit or not or added to next year's taxes.
If direct deposit, ask for routing and acct information

Big labor saver

I'm completely hooked on TurboTax for tax preparation. Before TurboTax I prepared my returns manually -- will never go back now.
What's great about it: Thorough walk-through with clear instruction, mostly
What's not so great: For the first e-filing, TT furnished IRS incorrect 2012 AGI without my knowledge, causing rejection.

Clunky

I was very frustrated when it asked me to input my user name and password. When it told me my password was incorrect, I reset it. When I entered the new password in, it was not accepted. I repeated this process TWICE!
While attempting to file my state return, the program told me it would be $40 which is too much! While finishing up, the program told me that it would be free with a $20 dollar mail in rebate. When I went back to the state return to see if the price had dropped to $20, it stayed at $40.
Also when entering my EIN, the software told me that it would pull my w2 from the internet. Not only did it not pull MY information, it did even input the name of the company. If it knew which company I got the w2 from, why didn't it fill in the fields for me?

Turbo Tax User

I have been a turbo tax user for the past few years. I love this product and recommend anyone who wants to try doing thier taxes. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars was for the following. When it asked me to update my forms and I
clicked "OK" to start downloading It would constantly say "Download stopped by User" or "updated forms may not be ready" I waited a couple days for the updated forms. When i investigated I found the forms I needed to update had already been updated. I had to google to find out that for some reason double clicking "OK" would cause the download to stop, and that I had to click "OK" one time for the download to complete. This caused my filing to be delayed over a week Had I not started looking into it ,who knows how long my tax filing would have been delayed. This is the first year this has happened to me. I hope turbo tax fixes this issue for the next year. I really enjoy this product and will use it again next year.

Solid Performance

I'm a faithful returning customer of Turbo Tax. Every January I purchase Turbo Tax even before I receive my W-2 so I can quickly do our taxes.
We have very straight-forward taxes, so its wonderful to file with so little hassle.
What's great about it: Easy to use; mostly intuitive
What's not so great: hmmm....

Professional and user friendly

While in the comfort of my own home, I am able to receive professional tax help which is organized. Turbo Tax has all the up-to-date tax information that I would have to research. It is user-friendly and a good us of my time-management.
Because I keep my tax files current year round, all I have to do is purchase Turbo Tax, get out my current tax file, and start entering my tax data...

Taxes Made Easy

I have been using Turbotax for the last several years and have remained a customer because of the quality of the product. Turbotax saves me a lot of time, money and hassle during the tax season. As long as you keep putting out a tax software package that makes my life easier, I will continue to use it...thank you!
