Quick Easy been using it for Years

Saves time and trouble

I love doing my taxes with Turbo Tax. The questions guide me through areas which I am unfamiliar with, yet I can skip the questions and go directly to parts of the form with which I am familiar.
I would recommend this to anyone who does taxes, their own or someone else's. This program will do the job whether the user is a complete novice or a tax professional. It is user-friendly, fast and accurate

Preperation

I've been using Turbo Tax for four or five years now and will continue to do so. However, as someone who is familiar with taxes I'd like the option to work from the tax forms instead of the landing pages. In other words, I'd like to go to the line on the tax form and click to go to the respective page and research materials.
What's great about it: Great "step-by-step" process
What's not so great: Doesn't have a click from lines on forms to worksheets

Complicated kids return

My child needed to file for the first time due to dividends and capital gains, which I really didn't understand. Turbo Tax Basic made it easy for me to do by walking me through each step and automatically transferring most of the information I needed.
What's great about it: I was able to quickly transfer info from 1099-B and 1099-DIV. Directions were fairly easy to understand.

Long time Turbo Tax user

I have used Turbo Tax for at least 8 years. I love the ease of use and the ability to save $100 of dollars.
What's great about it: Alot less than having the "pros" do my return
What's not so great: I have always loved turbo tax. Glitch with online version, on hold over 2 hrs but fixed and no charge
